Mexico has experienced a wide development of the electronic scene, one of the main spaces for growth is the city of Guadalajara, in which for some several years have seen growth parties and festivals that has allowed many people to witness the performance of the best exponents of this music, which naturally has caused the emergence of a large number of projects seeking to express their particular vision of reality through various musical genres.

In 2006 at the initiative of Omar Castro (aka Glitch) and Zirahuen Romo (aka Patrick Bateman) a group of DJs and producers meet to try and build a project through which it could disseminate its work, focused on psytrance, especially in the Hi-Tech, as a result giving birth to Lysergic Records.

The first project to be promoted was the creation of an independent festival where you could meet the best of local artists with the best of their productions, which was called LSDream, making this event the arouse public interest in the projects that were presented, among which are those now been consolidated as the best exponents of psytrance in Mexico: Total Sickness, a project which arose Dr. Hoffman, The Lysergic Orchestra, Ctrl Z3TA and several others.

With the impulse given by this festival is that Lysergic Records decides to create a space for producers and DJ's to share experiences and enrich their work, where upon lysergic studies are based in Guadalajara, place that has served as the basis for growth and development of a large number of artists.

Proceeds from this work is that the project takes shape on the label, as it presented the first Lysergic Production: Party Monsters, a collection of the best artists in the independent scene, compiled by Dj's Menuk and dj Clonax, who have a number of tracks that exemplify the growth that the scene was presented in the country, blending the power and quality.

With this production is that Lysergic Records positions itself as one of the strongest alternatives for the dissemination of Hi-Tech in Mexico, allowing its artist to tour all over the national territory, generating increased acceptance for its work, going from small parties to achieve a constant in festivals all over the country.

The Labels continues to grow and add to its artists roster, proyects not only from Guadalajara, but even outside of Mexico, as they joined the label Stereopanic projects as producer of Culiacan Mexico who is just introduced in December 2009 their first EP "Synthetic Explosion" plus Iliuchina, Russian producer based in Israel who will present in the early months of 2010 the EP "Secret Prophecy", who along with the live act's The Lysergic Orchestra, Digital Murders, DJs Menukan, Clonax, B3nder, Chess, Weirdtrix and Psyward, the Vj Sweet Candy and decoration Telemetricka collective project directed by jouse romano family compose the Lysergic Records.
